Governor Soludo of Anambra State, your name is translated in English as "Solu-udo" and that is: "follow peace" but Instead of following peace, you are "following evil or war" all the time. Following wickedness or evil all the time that means you are unfit to answer your name because it will always be proving you wrong.

The Onitsha Main Market was built in the 14th century and gradually was being developed, up to this point. And now we are at this point in time, you are telling everyone that you can revoke the land and build a school there because you are the Governor. Of cause you are the Governor but only for another four years. One question you should answer is, are you feeding the whole state or feeding the owners of the shops? We know that you are a very powerful man indeed by being the Governor for 4 years.

A powerful man, yet Joe Igbokwe came all the way from Lagos to coined the idea of closing shops during sit-at-home to you. Look at useless Joe Igbokwe who supposed to be managing Lagos sewage system but all he is there doing is bashing Igbo people with his big mouth. Look at Lagos declining sewage system, can Joe Igbokwe manage it - the answer is no. The Yoruba just use him to be making tribalistic comments against Igbo.

Yoruba, Tinubu has seen that Igbo people and businesses are gradually moving out of Lagos back to South East, they decided instigated Anambra State Governor by using Joe Igbokwe. They want the Governor to do similar thing they are doing in Lagos to prove that Igbo land or Onitsha can be the same or worst than Lagos.

They also cocked up this one they call: "South East City Boys or City Boy Movement" by using Obi Cubana and Cubana Chiefpriest. All this, to show they are in good terms with Igbo even when they are not. As Igbo gradual start moving out Lagos, it is a big shock to them, as they thought that Igbo cannot be able to do it.

These are their planning using  Igbokwe, Obi Cubana and Cubana Chiefpriest to try correct their mistakes. Their major doing in Onitsha is to try and get Joe Igbokwe to instigate the governor and so doing, get governor stir up trouble with the sit-at-home again. Yoruba, Tinubu sent him to pretend that he is going to visit his village from Lagos but whilst he is there, tell Governor Soludo this:

"The ‎Best way for Governor Soludo to end Monday Sit-at-Home in Anambra State with the Improved Security and Enforcement, is to order that:

‎(1) All markets in Anambra State must open for business every Monday.

‎2- Any market that fails to open on Monday shall be closed for the remainder of that week.

‎3- If such a market remains closed the following Monday, it should be shut for a second consecutive week.

‎4- Should the closure persist for a third Monday, the market must remain closed indefinitely until the leadership and traders formally commit to full Monday operations.

Even a blind person can see what Yoruba people are doing to Igbo businesses in Lagos and want the same thing in Anambra, continue to pass down the same hardship to Igbo businesses in Anambra. Closing or demolition of markets' in Onitsha will not stop sit-at-home but it will give it strength.
Mazi Nnamdi Kanu shouldn't be where he is right now if it wasn't for Igbo States' Governors. So, you and your other Igbo States' Governors should help to release him from prison and there will be no more sit-at-home on Mondays.

Igbo States' Governors are good in power of destroying their own people's good intentions but when it comes to defending them in the whole country, they go mute.

Is it out of madness or what? Biafra Update wrote: For Observing Sit At Home, Anambra Governor Soludo Marks 10,000 Shops For Demolition In Onitsha Main Market, Gives Traders 14 Days To Move

Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has issued a 14-day ultimatum to traders in Onitsha Main Market to move as he marked no fewer than 10,000 shops for demolition in the market.

The governor issued the order amid controversy over his closure of the market for one week on Monday, January 26, over traders’ continued observance of the Monday sit-at-home, despite repeated government directives abolishing the practice.

Despite the partial compliance with the government order to shun the Monday sit-at-home, traders at Onitsha lamented that they came to their shops only to find out that over 10,000 shops have been marked for demolition in the market, with a 14-day deadline for them to move out.

A trader, Uzochukwu Joseph Okoye, who owns a clothing shop at the market, said, “I opened today. I opened last Monday, but the market is not filled like last Monday.”

Asked about the situation at the market, he said, “The situation is that we came this morning and saw a lot of paints in our shops that we should move in 14 days. But that 14 days is too short. We cannot do anything within 14 days.

“A lot of people are in the market, ready to trade despite the fact that we do not see customers. Even when we were coming, transportation was also an issue.

“I’m pleading with the governor to also work on transportation and banks so that everywhere will operate fully on Mondays. This morning, some banks were not open, and some transportation companies are not operating.”

He noted that finding Keke Napep and commercial buses was a problem, making it almost impossible for traders to go to their shops.

On why their shops are marked for demolition, Okoye said that Governor Soludo is complaining that the Onitsha Main Market has been messed up, hence, the need for the demolition.

“But we, the traders know that before developers built these shops, I got approval from the state government, and the government gave them the standard approval of the shops to build.

“After building, the developers sold them to us, and we have been paying tax to the government. Now the governor marks all these shops as bad. He marked more than 10,000 shops, saying that those more than 10,000 shops should be removed.”

Okoye lamented that the most painful part of the planned demolition is that the government could provide an alternative for them.

Pleading with the governor to be patient with the traders, Okoye said, “If it is about Monday business, I’m sure that within two weeks, Main Market will be in full operation. Business will be booming and everything will be working normally.”

Okoye added, “We are even tired of staying at home but the challenges are transportation, banks and other things, which the government has promised to provide adequate security for us.”

SOLUDO AND THE CLOSURE OF ONITCHA MAIN MARKET: Using A Borrowed Culture To Intimidate The People!

The fact that we are all educated in western education does not erase the tenets of Igbo culture. Democracy begins and ends in Igboland (anyone can debate it as much as he wants); no other country has it from the grassroots as it is embedded in Igbo culture. Igbo culture commands us to individually and collectively do what we want though, we should use our tongue to count our teeth. However, Igbo politicians borrowed and imported foreign culture into Igboland to enforce and subdue the people, to change their beliefs, values, resilience and indomitable stance on protecting their homes and their interests. Igbo politicians, such as Soludo must be careful as they are too small to change Igbos cultures imbibed in the people; onye na ucheya. The governments, both federal and state do not help the people to support themselves, however, governors, such as Soludo always using commanding tone that's alien to Igbo culture. Every man in Igboland knows that it is provocative to command your neighbour; such person would choose to die than to succumb to intimidation. Those in Onitcha main market use their own resources to establish themselves; you cannot force them to do what the government likes.

However, Government is by the people and for the people. By the way, the government of Soludo did not support the people in starting their businesses for them. They pay taxes and can decide to close their business if they want. Forcing the people is lack of knowledge of the people's culture. We are all educated as education ends in 'masters', PhD is just a single honour! If one cannot reason with masters degree, he cannot reason with a PhD. Anambra is the custodian of Igbo culture, and therefore, cannot be turned right, left and centre by the government. We know what is good for us; our brother, Nnamdi Kanu cannot be locked up by the federal government of Nigeria, and Soludo, acting like their paid agent, keep bullying the people with the might of the federal government. Go and release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu or we are no longer interested in anything Nigeria, whether state or federal! You cannot beat a child and ask him not to cry. Nothing on earth brings joy to Igbo man that to release our Brother, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu; anything else is a challenge to us, and according to Igbo culture, we will resist it!

My name remains Oguchi Martins Egbujor, your messenger of truth. Release Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and let us close this ugly chapter! He who has ear let him hear!
